Hello! I could have sworn I’ve been to this blog before but after reading through some of the post I realized it’s new to me. Anyways, I’m definitely delighted I found it and I’ll be bookmarking and checking back often!
I am moving back to FL and want to offer basketry classes. I specialize in appalachian style rib baskets. Rattan is the preferred material for it gives a beginner more control initially. The skills learned can be enhanced with local materials and used for survival items when needed.
I see you are closed May/June. I am arriving about mid June. 2012
